SASARAN SKY MIRROR
Sasaran is a small fishing village town in Kuala Selangor. The Sky Mirror is located in the middle of the Straits of Malacca. Driving distance between Kuala Lumpur and Sasaran is 60 KM (approximately 1 hour drive from Kuala Lumpur).
This “mysterious island” is as wide as 150 football field, which enable you to captures stunning photos, as the ground reflects the sky in ways that blur the distinction between sky and sea.
NOT ONLY THIS! You can also discover more marine life here. Baby clam and sea clam are commonly found. Other marine organisms found are shore crabs, bamboo crabs, sea nails, bailer shell and variety of shells. You’ll enjoy the speed boat ride along the Straits of Malacca.
If you’re really lucky, you may have dolphin swimming alongside during your journey. it is advisable to contact the person in charge for the latest schedule.

“Blue tears” are formed when clusters of marine algae, disturbed by the crashing waves, glow a bioluminescent blue. “Blue tears” are very susceptible to external light and can only be seen in pitch darkness.
The glowing waters are caused by certain algae called dinoflagellates, which produce a glowing light when the water they are living in is disturbed by motion. They can actually be found in most of the world’s oceans but are generally too small and dim to see. However, during the warmer summer months in more temperate waters, they can grow in higher concentrations, which then allows us to see the beautiful blue glow they create.
